Screening ofth the documentary "Daughters of the Forest"

This film tells the story of a small group of
indigenous girls in rural Paraguay, who attend a radical high school
where they learn to protect their endangered forest of the Mbaracayu
Reserve. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Blum Center
Visiting Scholar Martin Burt, who was instrumental in the foundation of
the Mbaracayu Forest School featured in the film.
