Keynote Speaker: Shelley Streeby, professor of literature and ethnic studies, UC San Diego, and author of Imagining the Future of Climate Change: World-Making Through Science Fiction and Activism (UC Press). 

Support undergraduate writing and promote climate action by joining former Writing 39C students as they present Advocacy Papers that address a range of issues stemming from global climate change. This interdisciplinary event is open to the public and encourages anyone interested in composition, sustainability, activism, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to attend.
