Absolving God: Thomas Hobbes' Scriptural Strategy Alison McQueen Stanford University

Alison McQueen is Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Stanford University. She is the author of Political Realism in Apocalyptic Times (Cambridge University Press, 2018). A former fellow at Princeton's University Center for Human Values and at Stanford's Humanities Center. She received the American Political Science Association's Leo Strauss Award for best dissertation in Political Philosophy (2012).
