AREAS OF INTEREST:
In general, my work is in phenomenology and the nexus of phenomenology and metaphysics. I am currently working on a dissertation on the experience of time and related issues in the metaphysics of time. I have also done work in the philosophy of memory, the philosophy of perception, consciousness (defending a certain version of same-order representationalism), and embodiment. All of my work is carried out with the goal of bringing the conceptual rigor of analytic philosophy (especially contemporary metaphysics and philosophy of language) together with the deep insights of 20th century phenomenology (especially those found in the work of Husserl and Merleau-Ponty).
